CloudSigma would like to inform you that we will be performing an upgrade to PDUs running compute and storage nodes in our cloud. Based on internal testing the lowest risk with minimal impact methodology has been found to be as follows:
(1) Prepare the PDUs for upgrade
(2) Map additional cables to the free sockets
(3) Replace legacy equipment
(4) Run the upgrade
This will prevent upgrade our PDUs with to ones with additional management capabilities which will be used for higher uptime and greater operational visibility moving forward. This upgrade is not expected to be service affecting.
All support activities will be conducted under the direct supervision of CloudSigma’s operations staff.
IMPACT:
During the maintenance no disruptions on customer’s infrastructure are expected.
