CloudSigma would like to inform you that the annual black building test has been performed. During the tests, the electricity in our facility was stopped, in order to test that the generators kick-in correctly. The actual works took 4 hours in total.

IMPACT:
There was no impact on already existing/running customers’ virtual machines, hosts, network accessibility and/or any other running services.

While it is important for CloudSigma to perform maintenances such as this to ensure the quality of our services, we do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience for our customers. We appreciate your patience and welcome any feedback.

CloudSigma would like to inform you of an upcoming annual black building test will be performed. During the tests, the electricity in our facility will be stopped, in order to test that the generators kick-in correctly.

IMPACT:
There will be no impact on already existing/running customers’ virtual machines, hosts, network accessibility and/or any other running services. All power is already provided through the UPSs, so there is no risk of an outage. If the generators fail to act correctly, then power is restored before UPSs run out. The risk of test failure is negligible, but even if it happens, there will be no building outage or service interruption.
