[ZRH] Storage Cluster Maintenance
Scheduled Maintenance Report for CloudSigma
Completed
CloudSigma would like to inform you that the scheduled maintenance of our storage cluster in Zurich location is completed. This maintenance fixed the bug identified as the root cause of two recent outages on the 20th and 23rd of January 2018. The actual change took 27 hours in total.

All support activities were conducted under the direct supervision of CloudSigma’s DevOps staff.

IMPACT:
During the maintenance there was some slight delay on some storage operations and some frozen storage operations for about a second during storage node reboots. There was no other impact on the running VMs.

CloudSigma would like to inform you that the re-balancing is taking longer than expected. The maintenance will require additional 5 hours.

Update
The maintenance stage of applying the bug fixes is complete.
The next stage of the maintenance entails re-balancing the storage units.
This stage is expected to have no actual impact on any running services and will take around 16 hours in total.

storage cluster in Zurich location. This maintenance will fix the bug identified as the root cause of two recent outages on the 20th and 23rd of January 2018. The actual change is scheduled to take no longer than 8 hours in total.

All support activities will be conducted under the direct supervision of CloudSigma’s DevOps staff.

IMPACT:
During the maintenance there might be some slight delay on some storage operations and some frozen storage operations for about a second during storage node reboots. There will be no other impact on the running VMs, so no actions are needed from your end. This patch is running successfully in other locations for more than a month.
